Probably the most complete background I have ever done. Though I still need a lot of work on depth. And my first go on illustration board!
Moth is a pyro-autistic blacksmith - embers are his hearts delight and if he gets entranced on a piece he is working on he might not rember to eat for days.

I love all the little details, like the celtic borders on stuff, and the reminder sign. Backgrounds can be so hard to make yourself do, but so worth it.
